Produced by ASEC Tapered Tube Plugs stop leaky tube ends, extending the heat exchanger’s useful life. The pin plug’s one-piece construction offers a simple method for permanently filling tubes or tubesheet holes. With the least amount of installation power, the clean surface finish and regular taper ensure effective sealing.
Heat Exchanger Tube Taper Plug
Condenser, heat exchanger, and tubesheet holes are permanently sealed with Heat Exchanger Tube Plugs. Condenser Some high temperature, high pressure heat exchangers can use tube plugs. Just before to the heat exchanger being put back into operation, tube plugs are hammered into any leaky tubes.
The interior diameter of the heat exchanger/boiler tube should roughly match the midpoint of the taper when choosing a tapered tube plug. The heat exchanger/boiler tube is sealed by inserting the tapered tube stopper and hammering it into place. For each end of a heat exchanger/boiler tube that is leaking, a tube plug is necessary.
